With Metafrax Group's support, children from foster families in the Moscow region received help

Metafrax Group supported a project aimed at preventing secondary returns of orphans from foster families. The project is implemented by The Find a Family Foundation in the Moscow region with the support of the “Stronger with CSS” grant, the Presidential Grants Fund and Seifeddin Rustamov, the beneficial owner of PJSC Metafrax Chemicals.

The Find a Family Foundation has been working with host families throughout Russia for 8 years. Normalising child-parent relationships, rehabilitating foster children and increasing the family's potential through professional support reduce the risk of the children returning to the orphanage. Family psychologists and social work specialists work in the foster family support centres and the Find a Family remote service. All services for accompanied families are free of charge.

Thanks to Metafrax Group's support, from October to December 2021, The Find a Family Foundation psychologists conducted 80 individual consultations and 24 group sessions for foster children from Lobnya near Moscow. According to the results of monitoring and evaluation, work with a psychologist helps children who are former orphans to improve their development and skills (16%), to improve child-parent relations (19%), and to improve their psychological state, i.e. to increase their emotional stability (22%).

In 2021, The Find a Family Foundation helped 104 families in Lobnya, Moscow region, who are raising 198 foster children. 58 families and 96 foster children were under permanent support. With Metafrax Group's support, children from 44 foster families in the Moscow region received help.
