A Warm Meeting of Friends

A year has passed, and once again the long-awaited meeting of friends took place at the hospitable Uralsky Buket recreation center. Employees of Metafrax Chemicals, together with students of the Ural Chemical Technology College, met with graduates of the Rudnichny care home. This event has long been a good tradition within the framework of the project "Reclaim the Future" jointly with the Dedmorozim Charity Foundation.
The project is aimed to help physically challenged graduates of the care home to adapt to an independent active life. Every time such meetings show that it’s possible with our support, help and care.
The company's volunteers greeted the folks with smiles and warm hugs. It’s difficult to describe the joy of the children when they saw familiar faces. This day was intense and exciting for all participants. Together they cooked a delicious homemade pizza, and then tasted it together. A boat ride brought a lot of vivid emotions. Games, socializing in a natural setting, and gifts from Metafrax made this meeting special.
Vitaly Buzmakov, a methanol production operator:
“There was an atmosphere of warmth and kindness at the meeting. It was a great pleasure to participate, to help the folks, to take them for a boat ride and to give them some of the attention they so lack. The project is very important, and such meetings help physically challenged children to show their abilities, as well as diversify their leisure time and provide care.”
Veronika Kuzivanova, a chemical engineer at the analytical laboratory of the AUM complex:
“It was the first time I took part in such a meeting and at first I was a little worried, but the excitement quickly passed when I started communicating with the folks. Their openness and sincerity impressed me. They shared their stories, experiences, and dreams, and I saw how important it was for them to be heard and understood. The impressions from the meeting were only positive. The folks were so happy to see us that there were tears when we said goodbye. We promised everyone that we would definitely come to a meeting with them next year.”
