Five projects of the "School of Masters" have been approved

The sixth training course of the "School of Masters", which started at Metafrax Chemicals in May of this year, was completed with the defence of improvement projects.
Twenty engineering and technical employees as well as employees included in the labour pool of the enterprise became participants in the training program for line managers. In two months, during classes, trainings, and business games held at the company's training centre, they mastered 4 modules on lean manufacturing, general management, personnel management, innovation and invention, economics, and communication methods. The acquired knowledge and skills formed the basis of five developed improvement projects, which the participants presented to the company's management at the final class of the "School of Masters".
The presented technical solutions were evaluated by a committee headed by Albert Khudaibirdin, Managing Director for Production. The committee also included Konstantin Anufriev, Director of Organizational and Personnel Policy, Dmitry Kotsolainen, Chief Mechanic of the company, Dmitry Kuryshev, Chief Power Engineer, Boris Gershonok, Head of the Automation and Metrology Department, Konstantin Ardashev, Head of the Production and Technical Department, Elena Bolotova, Head of the Personnel Management Department, and Oksana Panchenkova, Head of the Operational Efficiency Department. The main criteria for evaluation of the works were relevance, effectiveness, innovation and quality of development.
As a result of the defence, all of the submitted projects were recognized as relevant for implementation and recommended for the preparation of innovation proposals. The gap between the teams turned out to be minimal. Representatives of the expert committee made suggestions on improving the efficiency of projects, which will be taken into account when preparing the final versions of the innovation proposals; in addition, they named the best technical solutions.
- All the projects that were presented today address relevant issues. We have seen that our young specialists are genuinely interested in improving technological processes, they identify "bottlenecks" in production, offer effective solutions and become leaders of improvements in their divisions. Thank you for taking the initiative, - noted Albert Khudaibirdin. - Without a doubt, the new skill sets acquired at the "School of Masters" will allow you to increase your work efficiency while achieving the company's strategic goals.
