Metafrax has produced one millionth ton of prilled urea

The first millionth ton of the product was produced on April 13 by shift "B" under the leadership of Sergey Dementiev.

On the occasion of this event, employees of the complex and the management of Metafrax Chemicals gathered at the central control room (CCR) of the Ammonia-Urea-Melamine (AUM) complex. Viktor Maier, Deputy Managing Director for Production, was the first to congratulate the team on receiving the anniversary ton.

"Last December, we congratulated the team on the production of the 500 thousandth ton of ammonia, and today I am pleased to congratulate everyone on another achievement - the first millionth ton of urea," said Victor Maier. - A few years ago, we wisely decided to build the AUM complex. Today, all production facilities are operating stably, and the team here is young and energized. I wish you to continue working in the same rhythm.

The ceremony was continued by the Technical Director of the company Andrei Yeremeyev.

- A million tons of urea indicates that the production has been established, has got on track and is ready to continue working rhythmically. This is a great achievement of the entire team of the AUM complex, since all plants, as well as the production of methanol with which the complex is integrated, are technologically interconnected. You are an example for our other production teams. The approaches that you apply, the ability to critically assess the situation and make the right decisions are distinguished by the AUM team. Congratulations to everyone on the millionth ton – it's a great team effort. Let's keep that up ! – the Director wished.

Alexey Dolganov, Director of the AUM Complex, also thanked his colleagues for their high-quality and responsible work:

- Every employee of the AUM complex has invested their labor in obtaining the first millionth ton. The main task now is to maintain this production rate and multiply our successes.

The managers presented commendations to Sergey Dementiev, shift supervisor of the urea plant, Vladimir Sementin, machine operator of pumping units, Alexander Popov and Danil Kosov, operators of the urea plant, Dmitry Shvetsov, shift supervisor of the ammonia plant, Alexander Shestakov, operator of the remote control panel, Ildar Khusainov, boiler operator, Evgeny Kobelev, operator of the ammonia plant, Vitaly Ryabkov, senior operator of the Pre-production Workshop Sergey Efimenko and laboratory assistants Anna Lapina and Olga Maltseva.

JSC "Metafrax Chemicals" is a part of the "Ruschem" group of companies. It is a major producer of methanol and its derivatives. The AUM complex was commissioned in June 2023. Thanks to the new production, about 400 new high-tech jobs have been created, and the range of products manufactured by Metafrax has been expanded. The company provided itself with its own raw materials for the production of resins and other products for further processing. AUM is a technologically interconnected production complex based on the most modern technologies and integration with the existing methanol production.
