The path to great chemistry
New technology classrooms have been created in two Gubakha schools with the support of Metafrax Chemicals.
Eighth technological classes have been opened in two schools of the Gubakha municipal district – the New Educational Center (school No. 14) and school No. 15 in Ugleguralsky settlement. The project was implemented with the support of JSC Metafrax Chemicals. Representatives of the company, teachers of the school and the Ural Chemical Technology College (UCTC) gathered to congratulate the future chemists of school No. 14 on the beginning of their academic journey.
The main goal of the project is early career guidance and training of future personnel for the chemical industry. Students of these classes will study in-depth natural science subjects: chemistry, physics and mathematics.
UCTC is the key partner of the company in this project. At its modern base, students will immerse themselves in practical chemistry, get acquainted with laboratory equipment, college infrastructure and professions in demand at the enterprise.
In addition to the intensive curriculum, the children have prepared a rich extracurricular activity: excursions to the Metafrax Chemicals production facility, specialized events at the college, as well as creative and sporting events. An important incentive for students who show high academic results will be a monthly scholarship from the company.
