From Education to Career

Representatives of Metafrax Chemicals participated in the exhibition and forum of educational institutions, educational technologies and vacancies “Education and Career”.
The career guidance forum was held in Perm, attended by educational institutions and the largest companies in the Perm Territory and other regions of Russia. The forum's events were aimed at immersing the younger generation in professions and getting to know promising industries of the future.
Metafrax Chemicals provided assistance to the students of the specialized "Metafrax class" on a trip to the forum. Gubakha students participated in the chemical show "I Want to Be a Chemist", organized by students of Perm National Research Polytechnic University, got acquainted with higher and secondary professional institutions in Perm, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, and also participated in a roundtable discussion of employers and students.
Yelena Bolotova, Head of the HR Department at Metafrax Chemicals, acted as the speaker of the roundtable discussion. She told the meeting participants about the company's training system, which includes work with preschoolers, career guidance activities for school students, employer-sponsored education programs for university and college students, and support measures for young professionals. The “Metafrax class”, which has been recruiting students for the third year, is one of the areas of such systematic work. Its students study chemistry, physics and mathematics in depth, focusing on further admission to specialized universities.
The Ural Chemical Technology College (UCTC), a key partner of Metafrax in the training of workers, presented its booth at the exhibition and forum. During the exhibition, Veronika Kotsolainen, Deputy Director, and college students told school graduates about UCTC’s training areas, employment opportunities and career growth at Metafrax Chemicals.
The forum included practice-oriented workshops, intellectual games and interactive events. According to the students, participation in the forum was informative and inspiring.
