Awards for professionals
Students from Gubakha became prize-winners of the professional mastery championship.
On March 31st, the winners of the regional stage of the All-Russian "Professionals" championship were awarded in Gubakha. The event dedicated to the closing of the professional mastery competition took place at the Ural Medical College. Rashid Shakirov, the Deputy General Director of "Metafrax Chemicals" for Personnel and Social Affairs, Aleksey Nazarov, the Director of the Ural Chemical Technology College (UCTC), and his deputy Mikhail Voroshilov congratulated the champions and presented the trophies. The award ceremony for the winners and prize-winners of the championship took place at all 24 sites of the competition in the Perm Region simultaneously by means of an online platform. The grand closing was broadcasted from Perm.
From March 27th to March 30th, the regional competitions for discipline titled "Repair of process equipment of chemical production facilities" were held at the premises of UCTC. The work at the site was overseen by the experts: the teachers for major subjects and employees of "Metafrax Chemicals" JSC. Two UCTC students won the highest awards per competition results. The "gold" was received by Artem Salimov and Kirill Sherenkov became the vice-champion.
UCTC students were also awarded among winners and prize-winners at the sites in the cities of Perm region, where the competitions were held for other competencies. The winner of the "Chemical process operator" competence was Yuri Myasnikov. The silver medallist in the same competence is Egor Karagodin. Dmitriy Bieber took the 3rd place in the competence titled "Industrial mechanics and installation".
In total, 550 students of technical schools and colleges as well as 85 school students took part in 97 competencies of the championship. 356 contestants were awarded per stage results. The final stage for the most demanded competencies will be held as part of the "Professionals" championship from November 25th to November 29th in St. Petersburg.
- For the second year I have been participating as an independent expert from "Metafrax Chemicals" during a professional mastery competition and a demonstration exam among UCTC students. It is unforgettable to see how the future of our country and, possibly, our enterprise is growing, learning, making mistakes and correcting them before your eyes, - notes Aleksey Martyushev, an engineer of the Chief Mechanic Department of "Metafrax Chemicals" JSC. – Students leave the competition site with vast experience gained here. This year, students from other districts of the Perm region joined the already interested contestants from Solikamsk and joined the "Professionals". And I am sure that the number of participants from other cities of the Kama region will grow in the future.
