It's Time to Strengthen Relations

Representatives of JSC Metafrax Chemicals took part in a meeting of the Russian part of the Russian-Kazakhstan Business Council.

The event took place on March 13, 2024 in Moscow. The meeting considered proposals, new solutions and promising projects for cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of chemical industry. Eduard Davydov, Chairman of the Russian part of the Council, CEO of JSC Ruschem, noted that the level of economic relations between Russia and Kazakhstan is high and has potential for development:

"The turnover of foreign trade between the two countries is always at a high level and with positive dynamics, despite the change in the geographical structure of exports.”

The manager also outlined three areas for the development of cooperation in the chemical industry between Russia and Kazakhstan: improving business contacts at all levels, increasing connectivity in economic sectors and ensuring coherence of infrastructure.

The meeting participants also discussed upcoming events and agreed to continue discussing cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in the chemical industry in 2024, as well as consider a proposal to create a permanent working group on chemistry within the Council.

Ivan Feoktistov, First Deputy General Director of JSC Metafrax Chemicals: “Thanks to this event, we learned about promising areas of cooperation between industrial enterprises of Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as about the work carried out by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Russian-Kazakhstan Council to make this cooperation as productive as possible. I’m convinced that now is the best time to strengthen relations. We will use the Council's mechanisms to take into account the Kazakhstan market when developing promising products."

The Russian-Kazakhstan Business Council is a permanent consultative and advisory body on trade and economic cooperation between the business circles of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The founders of the Council are the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan.
