AUM Complex solves the issues of Metafrax Group raw materials safety

Metafrax Group implements in Gubakha a major investment project on construction of the industrial complex “Ammonia, urea, melamine” (AUM). The new plant will allow producing the goods within integration with the existing production – 517 thousand tons of urea, 298 thousand tons of ammonia and 40 thousand tons of melamine per year. Tentatively 400 work places will be provided.

The complex under construction solves the issues of raw materials safety for the chemical holding, it will allow to increase the quantities of the resins production and their range. In the process of construction PJSC Metafrax Chemicals builds the biggest unit for recovery of carbon dioxide in Russia. Putting the unit in operation will exclude daily emission to the atmosphere of more than a thousand ton of carbon dioxide. This will be a significant input of the company into the control of the greenhouse effect.
