The reconstruction of the city park in Gubakha has been completed
The opening of the renovated park named after Yu.A. Gagarin took place in Gubakha. The favourite recreation place of citizens has been improved as part of the "Sunny Dream" project - the winner of the All-Russian competition for the best projects for creation of a comfortable urban environment in small towns and historical settlements.
A stage, a square and a reservoir have been built in the park, a large live spruce has been planted, paths have bee surfaced, some of the paths are made of granite chips. The Ferris wheel has been renovated and landscaping has been carried out, benches, trash cans, swings and a sports ground have been installed, a storm sewer and an outdoor lighting system have been developed. The sections of streets providing access to the park from all sides have been repaired. Due to cooperation with "Metafrax Chemicals" PJSC, a new art object "Planet Metafrax" with evening dynamic illumination has been installed on the "Chemists' Alley".
- For a number of years, we have been consistently improving streets, yards, squares and other recreation areas in Gubakha and other towns of Kizel Coal Basin. This is a long-term program and today we have completed its next stage. The renewal of Gagarin Park in Gubakha is the result of a huge team effort. Not everything was easy, for example, it took a lot of effort for arrangement of drainage and water removal. Thank you to the Government of Russia, the Governor and the government of the Perm Region, the Gubakha administration, architects and construction contractors - everyone involved in this big and important matter. Gubakha is a city that grows, develops and where dreams come true. Numerous projects serve as an example, including the renovated park. Our main dream is to become the third most important city in Perm Region, and I am sure that we will succeed, - said Armen Garslyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Metafrax Chemicals" PJSC, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of Perm Region.
- The park reconstruction project is called the "Sunny Dream" for a reason. I think it would be correct to say that the transformation of the park was the dream of an absolute number of Gubakha residents. Now it has become a place of attraction for both residents of the city and its guests, - said Aleksey Mazlov, deputy of the regional Legislative Assembly, Head of the Personnel Management Department of "Metafrax Chemicals" PJSC.
The implementation of plans to renovate the territory of the Gagarin Park has been underway since 2017. During this time, landscaping work has been carried out within the park; a lawn, lighting and art objects have appeared. An Alley of Chemists and a skate park have been developed. The “Gubakha” ice arena has been built, a rope course and attractions have been installed.
The "Sunny Dream" project was implemented as part of the federal project "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" of the national project "Housing and Urban Environment".
