Conscious development

In December, Nizhny Novgorod hosted the second international forum "SO.ZNANIYE", the main topics of which were the development of international cooperation in the ESG sphere and the discussion of a new model of conscious development for the BRICS+ countries. Metafrax Group was represented at the forum by Yulia Ershova, a leading expert on sustainable development issues at JSC Metafrax Chemicals.

About one and a half thousand people from 12 regions of Russia and 6 countries took part in the event: the Republic of Sri Lanka, Brazil, India, Serbian Republic, Armenia, and the Republic of Belarus. The speakers were representatives of federal and regional authorities, top managers of the largest companies in the country.

One of the key issues was the formation of the foundations of a closed-cycle economy and the practical application of green energy technologies. Discussions on such topical issues as the use of AI technologies, cybersecurity, and the goals and objectives of creating ESG technologies in an urban environment caused great resonance.

- The speakers' speeches focused on the need to develop environmental areas, improve social well-being, solve problems for the development of the economy and production, increase digital literacy and competitiveness of products in accordance with national sustainable development goals, - Yulia Ershova noted at the end of the forum, - At the same time, international standards in the field of quality management, health protection, the issues of occupational safety, environmental and energy management remain relevant, including in connection with the business turn towards Asian countries, where the compliance of partners with these documents is considered as a necessary minimum.
