Ecofuels of the Future and the Chemical Industry Education Cluster

Metafrax Group will organize a session "Methanol is the Fuel of the Future" at the 8th Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum dedicated to the issues of achieving carbon neutrality goals under the Strategy for Social and Economic Development of Russia.

Representatives of government authorities, technology companies, methanol producers, transportation and chemical industries, and scientific institutes will participate in the discussion on the readiness of the Russian market for new challenges regarding the introduction of alternative fuels.

Experts will share research results and experience in the use of methanol as a fuel in ship, railroad, road transport and for electric power generation. The use of methanol as a fuel will also be considered as a measure to support Russian producers in the current economic environment.

In addition, as part of the forum's business program, Metafrax Group experts will present the experience of implementing the federal project Professionalitet on the basis of the Ural College of Chemical Technology in Gubakha, discuss with market participants the state and prospects of the industry at the XV annual conference Mineral Fertilizers, share their experience in implementing the strategy of sustainable development and ESG-initiatives, including the area of working with young people.

The Perm Engineering and Industrial Forum will be held on November 29 - December 1 in Perm at the Perm EXPO venue (59, shosse Cosmonautov). The forum is organized by the Government of the Perm region and the regional Ministry of Industry and Trade with the support of the largest industrial enterprises of the Kama river region. It is planned that more than 3000 managers and specialists of the industrial sector of Russia and other countries will take part in the forum.
