In 2024, Metadynea recycled more than 11 tons of scrap materials.

In 2024, Metadynea continued to demonstrate its commitment to sustainable development principles. One of the company's significant projects in this area is the recycling of scrap materials. Compared to 2023, the weight of recycled scrap paper has increased to 3.4 tons.

The collection and transfer of uncontaminated plastic waste for recycling is an important area of work within the project. In 2022, 12 tons were collected, and in 2023 - 20 tons were collected. In 2024, the weight of recycled plastic amounted to more than 8.49 tons.

Special attention is paid to the collection of scrap paper. In 2024, this figure increased to 3.4 tons. For comparison, in 2022, 2.5 tons were collected, and in 2023 - 1.3 tons were collected. The weight of recycled scrap paper has increased, in part, due to an active campaign among employees. This facilitated an increase in motivation of the staff to participate in the collection of scrap materials.

In addition, the company's employees continue to collect and send used batteries for disposal. During this year, the employees sent in 10 kg of batteries.

In total, in 2024, Metadynea recycled more than 11 tons of scrap materials. The company's goal-oriented sustainable development policy is being systematically implemented from year to year. This work is included in a set of measures aimed to comply with sustainable development principles adopted by Metafrax Chemicals JSC as well as with the environmental policy of Ruschem JSC.
