Ruschem is holding the All-Russian Chemistry and Chemical Technology Competition for school students
Ruschem JSC has announced the start of the Major chemistry and chemical technology competition. In 2025, school students living in all regions of the Russian Federation will be able to participate in the intellectual competition.
The first stage of the competition is remote. It is being held until March 16th. You can register and complete the online stage on the competition's website by clicking on the link.
The best participants will be invited to the second in-person stage, which will be held in two rounds at leading universities and colleges in five regions of Russia: theory will be held on March 30th, experiments will be held on April 26th.
The venues for the theoretical and practical rounds of the competition will be organised in the Republic of Bashkortostan (Sterlitamak and Salavat), Perm region (Perm, Berezniki and Gubakha), Republic of Crimea (Armyansk), Volgograd region (Volgograd and Volzhsky) and Altai region (Steppe Lake settlement).
- Our goal is to support the interest of youth in science by giving talented school students a chance to prove themselves and gain a unique experience. For enterprises, this project is a great opportunity to ensure a labour pool. I am sure that the participants of the Major Ruschem competition are future engineers, scientists and managers who will determine the development path not only for our company, but also for the entire chemical industry in Russia. The expansion of the project's geography allows us to identify promising students who plan to become part of the chemical industry in key regions, - highlighted Vladimir Baranovskiy, Deputy General Director for Personnel and Organisational Development at Ruschem JSC.
The organisers of the competition are Ruschem JSC, Ufa State Petroleum Technical University and RPO "Association of Mentors for Competition Movement". Eight universities and colleges of the country became partners of the competition: Perm State National Research University, Volgograd State Technical University, Volga Polytechnical Institute (branch of VolgSTU) and other universities and colleges.
All participants of the online stage will receive certificates and diplomas. The winners and prize-winners of the final stage as well as the best students in the regional competition will receive diplomas, gifts and new opportunities: to join the labour pool of the enterprises of Ruschem JSC and to learn from industry professionals.
