Modern laboratories and workshops for chemistry students
An educational and production center of the chemical industry will be created in Gubakha.
Vladimir Daut, the General Director of "Metafrax Chemicals" PJSC, signed a partnership agreement for the creation and development of an educational and production center (cluster) of the "Chemical Industry" sector. The agreement was signed as part of the implementation of the federal project titled "Professionalitet". "Metafrax Chemicals" acted as the main partner of the Ural Chemical Technology College (UCTC) in the project.
Vladimir Daut noted that the joint work of "Metafrax" with the college has been carried out on an ongoing basis for decades.
- We, for our part, as a city-forming enterprise, will continue to reinforce the material and technical resources of UCTC and help ensure that qualified specialists come to work for us, – stated the general director of "Metafrax Chemicals".
The document was also approved by Raisa Kassina, the Minister of Education and Science of the Perm Region, and Alexey Nazarov, the Director of the Ural Chemical Technology College (UCTC), in the presence of Dmitry Mahonin, the Governor of the Perm Region.
As part of the project, in 2023 UCTC will become the base institution of the educational network, which will also include the Regional Industrial Technical School, Perm Chemical Technology Technical School and Solikamsk Mining and Chemical Technical School. Students of the chemical industry cluster will be trained in three majors: "Chemical technology of organic substances", "Technology of analytical control of chemical compounds" and "Installation, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment".
At the expense of the funds of the federal grant of the "Professionalitet" project in the amount of 100 million rubles, the funds of "Metafrax Chemicals" PJSC in the amount of 30 million rubles and the funds of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Perm Region in the amount of 2 million rubles, the laboratories and workshops of the college will be provided with the latest educational, measuring and production equipment. Repairs of the building front and premises of the educational and production workshops will be carried out, new intensive educational programs will be developed and implemented, which will reduce the students' training period for the cluster majors by six months.
