New jobs and renovation of the Palace of Culture

Deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Region Armen Garslyan, Maria Konovalova and Alexey Mazlov paid a working visit to the Kizel town on January 19. Together with the Head of the town district Andrey Rodygin, they inspected a new production facility, established as a part of an investment project aimed at creating new jobs for residents, and also visited the renovated Palace of Culture.

The "Horizontal" Company, with the support of regional and local authorities, is successfully implementing an investment project to expand the production of wooden containers. In 2023 an administrative building and an additional fabric building were erected at the enterprise, in which a line for the production of fuel briquettes from еру production waste – sawdust - was installed. Commissioning and testing of equipment are currently underway to put into operation, and a drying chamber is being installed. In 2024, the "Horizontal" Company plans to create 13 additional jobs.

A large-scale comprehensive renovation of the Kizel Palace of Culture is being carried out within the framework of the events of the national project "Culture" and the project "Culture of the Small Motherland" of the :Edinaya Rossia" party.

- For several years, since 2021, a phased renovation has been organized at the Kizel's Palace of Culture. We supported the project to renovate this historic building so that the residents of the town would feel comfortable and pleasant to be here, people would like to come here as often as possible, to join the culture," Armen Garslyan said.

In 2021 the auditorium stage and dance class were renovated, and in 2022, the auditorium itself was renovated. In 2023, seats for the auditorium, lighting and sound equipment were purchased. In 2024 it is planned to purchase stage dresssing as part of the project.

In addition, as part of the "Comfortable Region" program, the children's library at the Palace of Culture will be renovated, the foyer of the Palace will be repaired and the roof of the branch No. 2 of the Palace of Culture in the village of Yuzhny Kospashsky will be repaired.

- Participation in federal and regional projects allows the municipality to gradually solve many tasks that initially seemed overwhelming, - said Maria Konovalova, Director for Strategic Communications at Metafrax Chemicals JSC. – This applies, among other things, to social infrastructure facilities, the restoration of which requires significant resources. The Palace of Culture in Kizel is a vivid example of this approach, and we are glad that the result of our joint work is in demand by the urban community.
