We are proud of the Gubakha "little stars"!

The figure skaters of Gubakha showed decent results at the open championship of the town for the prizes of the Metafrax Chemicals, JSC.

The traditional inter-municipal figure skating competitions were held on January 5, 2024 at the Gubakha Ice Arena. This year 83 athletes from Perm, Krasnokamsk, Yekaterinburg and Gubakha took part in the Gubakha's championship for the prizes of the Metafrax Chemicals, JSC.

The trainees of the coach Ksenia Krasilnikova and choreographer Maya Vdovichenko once again achieved places in the top of the rating table according to the results of the competitions. In the category "First Steps in 2017 and younger", Elizaveta Cherepanova took the first place, Daria Nichkova took the second place, Agata Gutauskas took the third place, and Alisa Cherepanova won silver in the category "First Steps in 2017 and older".

Elizaveta Gritsai won the gold medal in the category "2nd junior category", Victoria Ilyina also won the victory in the category "1st junior category". In the "3rd sports category" Polina Fedorova took the 2nd place, Sofia Kondratieva took the 1st place in the "2nd sports category", and Maria Shaykhutdinova took the third place.

In the category "Pre-bronze, youth class", "gold" was taken by Kira Trubitsyna, in the category "Bronze, youth class" - the 1st place was taken by Ekaterina Cheremnykh, the second place -by Margarita Smoliy, the third place -by Alyona Ishchenko. In the category "Silver, Youth Class", Jani Santeladze celebrated the victory, Daria Kipreeva won the bronze medal.

Wr congratulate the young Gubakha " little stars", their parents, the coach and the staff of the Gubakha's Sports School on their well-deserved high results and wish them new sport achievements!

The Gubakha Ice Arena was built in 2019. Evgeny Ketov, the trainee of the Gubakha's hockey school, World- and Russian champion, took the initiative to erect it. The idea was supported by the Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Region, Mr. Armen Garslyan. Regional and local authorities took part in the construction of the sports facility jointly with the Elena and Gennady Timchenko's Charitable Fund. Metafrax Group has also joined to the implementation of this project. After the opening, the arena immediately gained popularity among the citizens, becoming a place of attraction for sports fans. The number of children and adults who play hockey and figure skating all year round and attend mass skating is growing every year. The area of the arena is 2.3 thousand square meters. The rink can accommodate up to 80 people at a time, and 185 spectators can be accommodated in the stands.
