A gala concert of the ninth festival of children's creativity "Talents of the Kama Region" was held in Perm on September 13. This year the festival was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the regional center.

Maria Konovalova, Director for Strategic Communications of Metafrax Group, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Perm Region, presented awards to the winners in the nomination "Theatrical Art of the Perm Region".

- People were and still are the main wealth of the Kama Region. Talented, wise, hospitable, dedicated to their work, cherishing their history and developing the potential of the territory in all directions. And such wonderful initiatives as the regional children's festival "Talents of the Kama Region" can bring up this amazing Perm character, not to miss the talent. This competition allows children even from the most remote territories of the Kama Region to make a name for oneself, find new contacts, make strong friendships, and receive recognition from the professional community. I am glad to have been involved in this event for many years," Maria Konovalova noted and invited the prize-winners and their mentors to the theatrical landscape festival "Secrets of the Krestovaya Mountain", which will traditionally be held in Gubakha in the summer of 2024.

The best in the nomination "Theatrical art" were the 3 "3rd" classes of the Lyceum No. 8 in Perm, Krasnokamsk exemplary children's collective "Chrysolites", studios "Caramel" and "75 parallel" from Chusovoy town. The special prizes of the jury were awarded to the creative workshop "Alyanushki" from the village of Tokhtuev, Solikamsk district and the exemplary children's collective "Vocal Ensemble "Kamerton" from Perm.

- The ninth festival takes place at a wonderful time, this year is the 300th anniversary of Perm. It's great that thanks to our holiday, children from all over the region came to the capital of the Kama Region, some of them for the first time. The competition is a women's project, it is exclusively handled in the Perm Region by women- ministers, deputies and others. This is a wonderful project, it is very important to us that any child, regardless of where he lives, whether he goes to the hobby group, can participate in the festival," said Irina Ivenskikh, one of the ideological inspirers of the festival, deputy of the State Duma of Russia.

In general, 2,718 works were submitted for consideration by the jury of the festival "Talents of the Kama Region-2023". 5 thousand children aged from 5 to 17 years took part in the competition. The competition was held in 9 creative categories, dedicated to dances and songs of the peoples living in the Perm Region, fine and applied arts, ethnic costumes, theater, literature, animation and cinematography, photography. As a result, 28 laureates of the competition and 19 holders of special prizes were recognized as the best ones.
