Spoke about the "Professionalitet" and "opened" a portal to UCTC

Representatives of the Ural Chemical Technology College (UCTC) participated in the international exhibition and forum "Russia" at the VDNKh site in Moscow. At the exposition of the Ministry of Labor "Family. Work. Longevity" they presented the college at the "Festival of Professions".

The exciting program of the festival intended to last for several weeks is full of meetings, master classes, presentations and interactive games. The organizers intend to present 80 sought-after professions in priority areas of economic development, 100 educational organizations, as well as the human resources and career opportunities of the country's leading employers.

UCTC was represented at the professional marathon by Deputy Director Mikhail Voroshilov and 4th year students Dmitry Biber and Egor Karagodin, ambassadors of the "Professionalitet" project, members of the city youth parliament.

"For students who will have to choose a professional path in the near future, the "Festival of Professions" is a useful platform where you can learn about a variety of different specialties. And not just to find out, but to clearly see what you will do after mastering a particular profession," the students of UCTC admitted. "We were pleased to talk about our college, the opportunities offered by the "Professionalitet", and participated with interest in the activities offered by other educational institutions".

Dmitry Biber, a scholarship holder of the Government of the Russian Federation, is studying in the specialty "Installation, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment", the owner of the badge "Pride of the Perm Region" Egor Karagodin is mastering the specialty "Chemical technology of organic substances". With the help of educational software purchased by the college as part of a federal project, the students demonstrated specific types of activities in their fields to everyone. And they even "opened" a portal to UCTC – through virtual reality glasses, festival participants were able to walk through the updated laboratories and workshops of the college.

"The main task of our participation in the exhibition-forum set by the Ministry of Education of Russia was the presentation of educational programs of the federal project the "Professionalitet" implemented in the educational and production cluster of the chemical industry of the Perm Region on the basis of UCTC. We also focused on synchronizing the college's activities with the needs of the main employer, Metafrax Chemicals JSC. To this end, we have prepared a video and a presentation dedicated to the successful experience of interaction between our educational organization and the enterprise," Mikhail Voroshilov shared. "I believe that we have fully completed the task, once again confirming the college's readiness to participate in federal-scale events".

The students added that participation in the exhibition was a memorable experience.

"Exhibition the "Regions of Russia" is very multi aspect and vibrant. A lot of interesting sites, each of them is interesting in its own way. Also we enjoyed interactive exhibitions of Rosneft, Yandex, VK, Sibur's Dom Polymerov - there are plenty of interesting digital perks and multimedia solutions. It's sad to have limited time, we wanted to see more sites," admitted Egor and Dmitriy.
