Professionals are trained in Gubakha
On February 22, the regional stage of the Professionals Championship was closed at the Perm Expo Exhibition Center in Perm. The skill competitions have been going on for the past week. Students of the Ural Chemical Technology College (UСTС) showed high training in several competencies at once.
UCTC has traditionally become a platform for holding a professional competition in the competence of "Repair of process equipment of chemical industries". Students from Gubakha, Solikamsk, Berezniki and Perm took part in it.
The Metafrax Chemicals company acted as an industrial partner of the college within the framework of the championship. The company's employees are the experts of the competition every year. This year, the work of the participants in the competence "Repair of process equipment of chemical industries" was evaluated by employees of the production for maintenance and repair of equipment in process workshops (POROTS) Sergey Zuev, Denis Vidyakin, Nikita Kukshinov, specialist of the separate division "Metafrax" LLC "RHIT" Dmitry Pantyukhin. Alexey Zabaev, Head of the Department for Repair, Manufacture of equipment and spare parts for it at POROTS, has been the chief expert of the competence for the fourth year. He also took part in the closing ceremony of the regional stage of the Professionals championship, presented awards to the winners and congratulated the young people on their successful participation.
- The geography of the championship is growing every year, which is encouraging. Healthy competition is always a good thing," emphasized Alexey Zabaev.
Summing up, the chief expert noted the high level of training of all participants, according to the results of the modules, most went close to each other, there was a competitive struggle.
The leaders of the competence "Repair of process equipment of chemical industries" were UCTC student Vitaly Starodubtsev – first place, Berezniki College student Dmitry Sidorov – second place and Perm Chemical Technology College student Andrey Biryukov – third place.
UCTC students showed high level of training in other competencies as well. It is not the first year that they have become the best in the competence of "Chemical Technology operator". This year, they reiterated the words of Alexey Nazarov, director of UCTC, that the college trains the best operators in the region. Timofey Krutaev won the gold medal, and Daniil Chernikov the silver medal. Vladislav Kuznetsov earned another silver medal for the college in the field of Industrial Mechanics and Installation. Valeria Motorina showed good training, she missed a bit to reach the top three of the competence "Laboratory assistant of chemical analysis".
